Early-Career Researchers Network

Building on the strong and collaborative community of the International Society for Plasma Medicine (ISPM), we are establishing the Early-Career Researchers (ECR) Network to connect, support, and empower the next generation of plasma medicine researchers.

The ECR Network is dedicated to researchers at the early stages of their careers in plasma medicine, including PhD candidates and researchers within seven years of obtaining their PhD. We recognize that opportunities for networking, professional development, mentorship, and the exchange of ideas are essential for fostering successful and fulfilling research careers.

Our mission is to create an inclusive and supportive environment where early-career researchers can build connections, share experiences, develop new skills, and engage with the broader plasma medicine community. Through dedicated networking activities, training opportunities, workshops, and community-building initiatives, we aim to strengthen collaboration and encourage the continued growth of emerging researchers across the field. The ECR Network is committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion and strives to create a welcoming environment in which all early-career researchers can participate, contribute, and thrive.

By bringing together early-career researchers from diverse backgrounds, institutions, and disciplines, we hope to cultivate lasting professional relationships and contribute to the future advancement of plasma medicine.
